After the postponement of the final part of Alicization due to COVID-19 , fans of the Sword Art Online anime can rest assured, as the new season is already confirmed to come out in July.
The confirmation came through a Dengeki Online live stream , and through the voice of the anime's producer himself: Masami Niwa .
Furthermore, Masami assured that the entire anime development team worked hard to deliver the season in July with excellent quality.
Alicization arc of Sword Art Online , which already has a total of 37 episodes .
On the other hand, the Light Novel continues after Alicization , with the later arc called Unitial Ring , but there is no confirmation of an adaptation.
