It was announced on stage at the Dengeki Bunko Festival 2015 event that the light novel “Sword Art Online” by author Reki Kawahara will get a new film. Also at the event, a video was published to remember the entire passage of the Sword Art Online series with the announcement at the end of the video.
Details about the project will be released on October 10th when another edition of Dengeki takes place.
For now, it is only known that Tomohiko Ito, responsible for the second season, will take over as director, while Shingo Adachi will be in charge of the character designs. Produced by A-1 Pictures.
