Sword Art Online novel will gain a new story arc. The news took fans by surprise according to the publication made in the 18th Volume of the novel. Scheduled for 2017, the announcement states the phrase: “ Kirito will return ”.
Therefore, the 18th volume focuses on the sub-arc entitled “War of the Underworld” of the “Alicization” arc. In total, the saga had the arcs Aincrad, Fairy Dance, Phantom Bullet, Mother's Rosary and Alicization.
Finally, the novel will get an American live-action series and in spring 2017 the film Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale will arrive
