The official website for the Sword Art Online II has released a new, more comprehensive trailer, bringing the total to six videos released for this second season.
The new series will adapt the third arc , Phantom Bullet, from the original light novel by author Reki Kawahara . The new arc, spanning the fifth and sixth volumes, introduces the heroine Sinon and the already familiar protagonist from the first season, Kirito .
The premiere in Japan will be on Tokyo, MX TV on July 5th at 11:30 AM . Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will reprise his role as Kirito, the protagonist from the first season of the anime .
