The official website for Sword Art Online II has released the fourth promotional video, featuring new footage from the anime. The video depicts the world within the online Gun Gale and features narration by the sniper Sinon .
The new series will adapt the third arc , Phantom Bullet, Reki Kawahara 's original light novel . The new arc in the fifth and sixth volumes introduces the heroine Sinon and the already known protagonist Kirito .
The premiere in Japan will be on Tokyo, MX TV on July 5th at 11:30 . Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will reprise his role as Kirito, the protagonist of the first season of the anime .
