The official website for Sword Art Online II released a new promotional video narrated by the character Kirito, in which he says: From the virtual world, causing the deaths of real people ... I can't believe it 's a possibility. But, I'll go for it if one percent chance

The new series will adapt the third arc , Phantom Bullet, Reki Kawahara 's original light novel . The new arc in the fifth and sixth volumes introduces the heroine Sinon and the already known protagonist Kirito .

The premiere in Japan will be on Tokyo, MX TV on July 5th at 11:30 . Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will reprise his role as Kirito, the protagonist of the first season of the anime .
