Sword Art Online Synopsis:
The story begins with the release of a long-awaited game (SAO). Using "Nerve Warrior" technology, players control their in-game avatars using only their thoughts, leaving their bodies in the "real world" as if asleep. Kazuto Kirigaya (Kirito), the protagonist, is one of the lucky ones who gets the first edition of the game. He logs in and finds himself in a completely new fantasy world with 10,000 other players, full of monsters and adventures.
The project finally began with a light novel written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by abec . The series subsequently spawned several manga adaptations published by ASCII Media Works and Kadokawa , as well as several anime seasons and feature films.
