The official website for the film Sword Art Online: Progressive Hoshi Naki Yoru No Aria posted a new PV (a 30-second version and a 15-second version) this Saturday. The site also posted visuals of the main characters in their costumes from the virtual world of Aincrad.
The film opens on October 30 in Japan.

Ayako Kawano (unit director on Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic ) will direct the film at A-1 Pictures . Kento Toya ( Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld , The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments ) will design the character. Yasuyuki Kai is the action director while Yuki Kajiura returns to compose the soundtrack.
Furthermore, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka returns as Kirito and Haruka Tomatsu as Asuna in the dubbing cast. Inori Minase will voice the new character Mito in the film.
Lastly, the anime is based on the SAO: Progressive light novel by Reki Kawahara . The novel launched in 2012 as a revised version retelling events that happened in Sword Art Online. The story describes Kirito's journey through Aincrad's floating castle from the beginning, floor by floor. Yen Press is publishing the Sword Art Online: Progressive novel series in English, as well as two manga adaptations.
