The official website for the film Sword Art Online Progressive: Kuraki Yuuyami no Scherzo, the second in the Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive-, has revealed a new trailer, new voice actors, and the film's staff.

Several voice actors will return for the film. Additionally, Kaede Hondo will voice Liten, while Yuusuke Kobayashiwill voice Death.

The film's original soundtrack will be released on September 9th, one day before the film's premiere.

Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night, the first film in the project, premiered in Japan in October 2021 and topped the box office in its opening weekend.
