It has been revealed that the second part of the anime Sword Art Online: Alicization will arrive in April 2020.
According to the official website, a total of 23 episodes are planned, to be released across 8 DVD/BD volumes, suggesting that 11 more episodes will premiere in 2020.

The animation is being produced by A-1 Pictures , directed by Manabu Ono (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, Saki), with character designs by Gou Suzuki and Gou Suzuki .
Finally, the Sword Art Online: Alicization arc covers volumes 9 through 18 of the light novel. In the story, Kirito is offered a job at a company called Rath, to test a new type of FullDive equipment known as the Soul Translator.
