The long-awaited VRMMO of Sword Art Online: The Beginning has received its first official images. According to the announcement, the first test will be held in Tokyo tomorrow, March 18th until March 20th for the 208 chosen people.
The purpose of the game is to show the advances that IBM has made in relation to “cognitive computing” and its potential. Participants, after being scanned in 3D, will be able to interact with the environment using IBM Cloud Services and SoftLayer technologies.
Sword Art Online takes place with “Kirito” Kirigaya, a young man who joins a virtual game (MMO) called Sword Art Online, where to exit he has to win and where Game Over means the death of the player.
