The new anime Sword of the Demon Hunter ( Kijin Gentou Shou ) had its first trailer announced today, the 22nd. Therefore, the series was announced in November 2023.

The previously announced anime adaptation of Kijin Gentoushou is scheduled for release this summer. Animation production will be handled by Yokohama Animation Lab (Hametsu no Oukoku, Lapis Re:LiGHTs).

Synopsis:
The plot unfolds in Japan's Edo period and revolves around Jinta, a bodyguard tasked with protecting a priestess in a remote mountain village. Despite being an outsider to the community, Jinta finds himself tasked with an epic mission: to hunt a demon deep within the forest. However, upon confronting the demon, he is confronted with an enigmatic future full of mysteries.
Finally, Kijin Gentōshō began in June 2019 with art by Tamaki. The work has over 230,000 copies in circulation in Japan.
