The new anime Sword of the Demon Hunter ( Kijin Gentou Shou ) had its first trailer announced today on the 22nd. Therefore, the series was announced in November 2023.

The previously announced anime adaptation of Kijin Gentoushou is slated for release this summer. Animation production will be carried out by Yokohama Animation Lab (Hametsu no Oukoku, Lapis Re:LiGHTs).

Synopsis:
The plot unfolds in the Edo period of Japan and revolves around Jinta, a bodyguard tasked with protecting a priestess in a remote mountain village. Despite being an outsider in the community, Jinta finds himself tasked with an epic mission: hunting a demon deep in the forest. However, when confronting the demon, he is faced with an enigmatic future full of mysteries.
Finally Kijin Gentōshō began in June 2019 with art by Tamaki. The work has more than 230 thousand copies in circulation in Japan.
