Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentoushou , the new anime set in the Edo period of Japan, has had its premiere date revealed. Additionally, fans can preview a new image.

Therefore, the series premieres with a 1-hour special on July 27, 2024. Animation production will be carried out by Yokohama Animation Lab (Hametsu no Oukoku, Lapis Re:LiGHTs).

Synopsis:
The plot unfolds in the Edo period of Japan and revolves around Jinta, a bodyguard tasked with protecting a priestess in a remote mountain village. Despite being an outsider in the community, Jinta finds himself tasked with an epic mission: hunting a demon deep in the forest. However, when confronting the demon, he is faced with an enigmatic future full of mysteries.
Finally Sword of the Demon Hunter began in June 2019 with art by Tamaki. The work has more than 230 thousand copies in circulation in Japan.
