Sword of the Demon Hunter: Manga gets anime adaptation

The long-awaited 14th and final volume of the renowned Sword of the Demon Hunter ( Kijin Gentou Shou ) saga, written by Moto'o Nakanishi , announced exciting news for fans: its adaptation in the form of an anime series is scheduled to premiere in the year 2024.

Sword of the Demon Hunter

Originally scheduled for September 2021, the anime promises to bring to life the entire fascinating universe of the work.

Synopsis:

The plot unfolds in the Edo period of Japan and revolves around Jinta, a bodyguard tasked with protecting a priestess in a remote mountain village. Despite being an outsider in the community, Jinta finds himself tasked with an epic mission: hunting a demon deep in the forest. However, when confronting the demon, he is faced with an enigmatic future full of mysteries.

Finally Kijin Gentōshō began in June 2019 with art by Tamaki. The work has more than 230 thousand copies in circulation in Japan.
