The official website for Taiso Samurai , the new anime from studio MAPPA , has revealed the names of new cast members, a promotional video, and a new visual.
So, the newly announced cast members are:

- Kaito Ishikawa as Atsushi Dōjima
- Daisuke Ono as Shige Nishikiori
- Kengo Kawanishi as Hiro Okamachi
- Hiroshi Kamiya as Ryu Ryusho
- Minami Tanaka as Kitty Chan

The story of Taiso Samurai is set in 2002 and centers on the once-powerful Japanese gymnastics team. Shotaro Aragaki, the former member of the Japanese team who dedicated his life to gymnastics, is no longer able to live up to expectations. Despite still training hard day after day, his coach, Amakusa, advises him to retire. But a certain encounter changes Aragaki's fate.
