The manga series Taiyou Yori mo Mabushii Hoshi ( A Star Brighter Than the Sun ), had its anime adaptation announced this Monday (10).

Synopsis:
Sae and Koki are childhood friends, sharing a bond that stretches back to their early school years. However, one fateful day, toward the end of elementary school, Sae has an unexpected revelation: Koki has grown up! Written and illustrated by Kazune Kawahara, A Star Brighter Than the Sun ( Taiyou Yori mo Mabushii Hoshi ) began serialization in Shueisha's shōjo manga magazine Bessatsu Margaret on June 11, 2021. The series' chapters have been collected into ten tankōbon volumes as of November 2024. In May 2024, Viz Media announced that it has licensed the series for publication in English.
