Therefore, the premiere of Taiyou Yori mo Mabushii Hoshi will take place in the October 2025 season, with animation by Studio KAI (Skeleton Knight in Another World).

Written and illustrated by Kazune Kawahara, A Star Brighter Than the Sun ( Taiyou Yori mo Mabushii Hoshi ) began serialization in Shueisha's shōjo manga magazine, Bessatsu Margaret, on June 11, 2021. The series' chapters were collected into ten tankōbon volumes as of November 2024. In May 2024, Viz Media announced that it had licensed the series for English publication.
