The game Tales of Arise, from Bandai Namco Entertainment , won the " Best RPG " award at the Game Awards 2021 .
Final Fantasy XIV, from Square Enix, won the award for best sequel. Nintendo's Metroid Dread won the award for Best Action/Adventure. Guilty Gear Strive won Best Fighting Game.
It's worth remembering that Final Fantasy VII Remake, from Square Enix, won the "Best RPG" award last year.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released the game Tales of Arise for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam) on September 10th in the West and on September 9th in Japan.
