Namco Bandai Games has released the first promotional video for Tales of Zestiria, titled Tales of Zestiria: Dōshi no Yoake (Tales of Zestiria: Dawn of the Fon Master). This anime special, based on the PS3 game, will premiere on Japanese channels Tokyo MX on December 30th and BS11 on December 31st.
The company Ufotable (Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night, Tales of Symphonia the Animation, Tales of Xillia cutscenes) is responsible for all the animation in this special and the in-game scenes. This animation will be included with the game's release.
The game will be released on January 22nd in Japan. Pre -orders will include a product code to download special items . The suggested retail ¥8,070 (approximately US $80).
The story of the game Tales of Zestiria takes place on the continent of Glynnwood, where two powerful nations, the Highland Kingdom and the Laurence Empire, fight for supremacy. Each country has different beliefs and cultures, and has achieved great advancements in civilization.
