Namco Bandai Games released the first promotional video for Tales of Zestiria titled Tales of Zestiria: Dōshi no Yoake (Tales of Zestiria: Dawn of the Fon Master), an anime special based on the PS3 game arriving on Japanese channels Tokyo MX on December 30th and BS11 on the 31st of the same month.
Ufotable (Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night, Tales of Symphonia the Animation, Tales of Xillia cutscenes) is responsible for all the animation for this special and the game's cutscenes. This animation will be included with the game's release.
The game will be released on January 22nd in Japan. Pre -orders will include a product code to download some special items . The game will retail for a suggested retail price of 8,070 yen (about US $80).
The story of Tales of Zestiria takes place on the continent of Glynnwood, where two powerful nations, the Highland Kingdom and the Laurence Empire, fight for supremacy. Each country has distinct beliefs and cultures, and has achieved great advances in civilization.
