Namco Bandai Games has released the first promotional video for Tales of Zestiria titled Tales of Zestiria: Dōshi no Yoake (Tales of Zestiria: Dawn of the Fon Master), an anime special based on the PS3 game arriving on Japan's Tokyo MX channels on the day December 30th and in BS11 the 31st of the same month.
The company Ufotable (Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night, Tales of Symphonia the Animation, Tales of Xillia cutscenes) is responsible for all the animation for this special and the scenes in the game. This animation will be included with the launch of the game.
The game will be released on January 22nd in Japan. Pre-orders for the game will include a product code to download some special items . The game will retail for a suggested retail price of ¥8,070 (about $80).
The story of the game Tales of Zestiria takes place on the continent of Glynnwood where two powerful nations, Highland Kingdom and Laurence Empire, fight for supremacy. Each country has different beliefs and cultures, in addition to having achieved great advances in civilization.
