The spin-off manga of the acclaimed franchise Tate No Yuusha no Nariagari has come to an end, with its last chapter published in issue 82 of Dengeki Daioh G.
Synopsis : Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who spends his days on games and manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe! He discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons and tasked with saving the world from its prophesied destruction. As the Shield Hero, the weakest of the heroes, not everything is as it seems. Naofumi soon finds himself alone, penniless, and betrayed. Naofumi soon finds himself with no one to turn to and nowhere to run, but he still has his shield. Now, Naofumi begins his journey to become the legendary Shield Hero and save the world!
The comedy manga is called Tate no Yuusha no to Aru 1-Nichi (A Day in the Life of the Shield Hero) and is illustrated by Akagashi , it was launched in Dengeki Daioh G in September 2018. In addition, Kadokawa published the second volume of the manga in December last year.
