The official website for the anime Tate no Yuusha ( The Rising of the Shield Hero ) has just officially confirmed that its 4th season will have 12 episodes. The information came through the Blu-ray and DVD release schedule for the new season.

According to the official website, the episodes will be distributed in three volumes. The first will be released on October 29, 2025 , with episodes 1 to 4. Subsequently, volume 2 arrives on November 26 , with episodes 5 to 8. The third volume is scheduled for December 24 , containing episodes 9 to 12.
Each volume will be available on Blu-ray and DVD , and will include exclusive gifts for fans of the series. Currently, production of the fourth season is in the hands of the studio Kinema Citrus , which had previously worked on the previous phases.
