Synopsis:
Hanamichi Sakuragi , a troubled young man who falls in love with young Haruko Akagi after enrolling at Shohoku High School. From then on, the tough-minded Hanamichi begins to get involved in sport, being part of a team and developing as an athlete and person.
Finally, the manga was published in Shonen Jump between 1990 and 1996, totaling 31 volumes. The work inspired an anime in 1993 and received four sequels.
