Synopsis: Patema Inverted takes place in an underground world where tunnels stretch everywhere. Even in this dark underworld, people wear protective clothing and lead a peaceful life. Patema, a princess of her underground village, enjoys exploring tunnels. Her favorite place is the "danger zone," which everyone in the village forbids anyone from entering. No one has ever explained the dangers there. On her usual trip to the "danger zone," Patema encounters unexpected events.
