Now we can miss the classic “ Tenchi Muyo! ”. According to a recent account created on “ Twitter ” and a new website opened this Friday, October 16th, a fourth season of the original series Tenchi Muyo!, titled Tenchi Muyo!, was announced. Ryo Ohki Dai-4-Ki (4 Season).
The site also announces an event on November 28th in Takahashi, Japan to focus on the latest anime, “Ai: Tenchi Muyo!”, as well as the recently announced Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki Dai-4-Ki. The three main cast members, along with Ai:'s Tenchi Muyo Rui Tanabe (Rui Aoi) and Azusa Satou (Yuki Fuka), will participate in the event.
Ai: Tenchi Muyo! premiered in October last year. The city of Takahashi sponsored the already released short series.
The original series (Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki), had six OVA episodes, being released in Japan between 1991 and 1992. Due to its popularity, a seventh episode was created (known as Tenchi Special ), and another chapter called Mihoshi Special . In 1994, a second OVA was created, featuring chapters 8 through 13. From 2003 to 2005, a third OVA series was released, featuring episodes 14 through 20, focusing on the story of the three goddesses introduced in the second OVA.

After these releases, 3 TV series were released called “Tenchi Universe”, “Tenchi in Tokyo”, and Tenchi Muyo GXP, all of them with 26 episodes. Furthermore, there was a series based on this Tenchi universe called “Pretty Sammy” which places the girl Sasami as the main character in a story completely different from Tenchi Muyo!.
The series here in Brazil was broadcast on the Band channel in the “Band Kids” section for around 5 years.
