The anime Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita ( Reincarnated as a Sword ) will have 12 episodes according to the animate website. Therefore, the series will premiere on September 28th of this year .

Synopsis
Hunted, enslaved, and killed – such is the terrible fate that befalls the members of the Black Cats tribe. Fran , a 12-year-old girl from the persecuted race, yearns for revenge for the atrocities committed against her people. She dreams of a better future, for which she will not hesitate to get her hands dirty. An encounter with a talking sword, a reincarnated man searching for a beautiful wielder, ends up being the decisive moment that will change her destiny.
With the help of her new comrade, young Fran plans to restore the pride and honor of her relatives, defeating all her enemies along the way. With unwavering resolve, she embarks on a journey with her miraculous sword.
Finally, author Yuu Tanaka released the novel adaptation of Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita on the Shousetsuka ni Narou in October 2015. Furthermore, the publisher Gentosha began publishing the illustrated series in April 2017.
