The original Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken manga has a spin-off called Tensei Shite mo Shachiku Datta Ken, however, this spin-off has come to an end, with the last chapter being published by Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine.
Synopsis: After being unexpectedly killed by a fleeing thief, an ordinary 37-year-old finds himself reincarnated in another world as a blind slime with unique abilities. Renamed "Rimuru Tempest," he arrives after meeting his new friend, the "catastrophe-level" Storm Dragon Verudora, and begins his slime life in another world with his growing number of followers.
The spin-off still has the same protagonist, but telling a story in which he returns to his previous life still with the slime body.
The first season Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken anime aired in October 2018.
The second season will be divided into two parts , the first airing in October of this year and the second later in April 2021.
The studio will be 8-Bits , the same studio that hosted the first season. Crunchyroll will broadcast the anime in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
