The actors who will play Joel and Ellie series The Last of Us 's HBO. According to an announcement by The Hollywood Reporter , actress Bella Ramsey, known for Game of Thrones, will play Ellie , and actor Pedro Pascal, from Wonder Woman 1984, will play Joel. Both will experience the entire saga of the game amidst a global apocalypse.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, The Last of Us follows the journey of Joel, a survivor who may have found the cure for the infection in Ellie, a girl immune to the virus. Receiving excellent reviews, the game was released on PlayStation 3 in 2013, and later re-released on PS4. Its sequel, The Last of Us – Part II, was released in 2020.
Finally, the series will have a script written by Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann, creator of The Last of Us, will participate as an executive producer.
