Synopsis
Chise Hatori, 15 years old. Abandoned, without hope and without a family, she is bought for money – not by someone else, but by an inhuman sorcerer named Elias. Despite being insecure, she begins her life again as his apprentice and future wife. She leads her new and peaceful life, until one day she finds a Japanese illustrated book, which had been sent to her from London among so many others. She found this fateful book when she was younger, still lonely and grief-stricken. This episode precedes Chise's encounter with the Sorcerer of Thorns. Chise Hatori, 8 years old. This is my story
The three-episode OVA project is being compiled alongside limited editions of volumes 16, 17, and 18 of Kore Yamazaki 's The Ancient Magus' Bride manga .
