The Ancient Magus' Bride

The official website for the second season of the anime "The Ancient Magus' Bride" (Mahō Tsukai no Yome) revealed a new trailer for the second half of the anime on Thursday.

The trailer reveals and introduces the second half's opening theme song, “Nemurasareta Lineage.”

This new season is directed by Kazuaki Terasawa KAFKA studio , written by Aya Takaha, Yoko Yonaiyama, Chiaki Nishinaka. Character designer by Hirotaka Kato and music by Junichi Matsumoto.

The new season will premiere in Japan from April 6th.

Synopsis

The story takes place with Hatori Chise, who lived a painful life, devoid of any feelings. When all hope seems to be gone, she has an encounter, when a man with the head of an animal, wielding strange powers, buys her through a slave auction. The man is a sorcerer of great power, who decides to free Chise from the bonds of captivity.

Finally, the manga had an anime adaptation with 24 episodes in 2017. Furthermore, the first season was animated by Wit Studio (Attack on Titan), directed by Norihiro Naganuma (Yowamushi Pedal) and character design by Hirotaka Katō .
