The official website for The Ancient Magus' Bride revealed a new trailer for the series' 2nd season. Part 2 of this new season of The Ancient Magus' Bride premieres on October 5th in Japan.

In this new trailer we can hear the ending theme “fam” in the voice of singer Yuyu. Therefore, part 1 of this season premiered on April 6th this year in Japan.

This new season is directed by Kazuaki Terasawa KAFKA studio , written by Aya Takaha, Yoko Yonaiyama, Chiaki Nishinaka. Character designer by Hirotaka Kato and music by Junichi Matsumoto .

Synopsis

The story takes place with Hatori Chise, as she lived a painful life, devoid of any feelings. When finally all hope seems to be gone, she has an encounter when a man with the head of an animal, wielding strange powers, buys her through a slave auction. The man is a sorcerer of great power, and he decides to free Chise from the bonds of captivity.

Finally, the manga had an anime adaptation with 24 episodes in 2017. Furthermore, the first season was animated by Wit Studio (Attack on Titan), directed by Norihiro Naganuma (Yowamushi Pedal) and character design by Hirotaka Katō .
