The Ancient Magus' Bride - Season 2 gets trailer and premiere date

The new season of the anime The Ancient Magus' Bride ( Mahotsukai no Yome ) has received a new trailer and promotional image. According to the official website, the series premieres on April 6th, animated by KAFKA .

The new season is directed by Kazuaki Terasawa at KAFKA , with scripts by Aya Takaha, Yoko Yonaiyama, and Chiaki Nishinaka. Character design by Hirotaka Kato, and music by Junichi Matsumoto.

Synopsis:

The story revolves around Hatori Chise, who has lived a life of suffering, devoid of any feeling. When all hope seemed lost, she encounters a man with the head of an animal, wielding strange powers, who buys her at a slave auction. The man is a sorcerer of great power, who decides to free Chise from the bonds of captivity.

Finally, the manga was adapted into an anime with 24 episodes in 2017. The first season was animated by Wit Studio (Attack on Titan), directed by Norihiro Naganuma (Yowamushi Pedal) and character design by Hirotaka Katō .
