The anime The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten ( Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken ) has revealed the main trailer for its second season, highlighting the opening theme "Kimi wa Koibito," sung by Masayoshi Oishi . The preview also confirms new production details and reinforces the continuation of the story between Amane Fujimiya and Mahiru Shiina.

The new season premieres on April 3rd on Tokyo MX. The episode will also air on BS NTV the following day. In addition to the Japanese TV broadcast, the ABEMA and Anime Store platforms will offer simultaneous online streaming.

The second season will be directed by Chihiro Kumano at studio project No.9, replacing Li Hua Wang. Keiichiro Ochi remains in charge of the script. Takayuki Noguchi returns as character designer, adapting Hanekoto's original design for the animation.

In terms of music, Moe Hyuga returns to compose the series' soundtrack. The main cast also returns, with Taito Ban playing Amane Fujimiya and Manaka Iwami voicing Mahiru Shiina. Taku Yashiro and Haruka Shiraishi complete the group of central characters.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is a romance light novel written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto. It began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2018. Subsequently, SB Creative published the print version under their GA Bunko imprint.

The first season of the anime premiered in January 2023 and was animated by studio project No.9. The story follows Amane, a lonely student who lives next to the popular Mahiru. Gradually, their interaction completely transforms the protagonist's routine.
