The official website for the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction has announced a new trailer featuring two new characters in the series. Additionally, the anime will have two consecutive arcs.

Therefore, the anime 2.5 Dimensional Seduction will premiere in the July 2024 season.

Synopsis 2.5 Dimensional Seduction:
“I have no interest in real girls!” declares Okumura, the president of the school's manga club. He's a typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Lilliel. Then, the new school year begins, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa, whose passion is cosplay, joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer—and guess who her favorite manga character is? And not only that, Lilysa is interested in modeling fetishistic things! The boundaries between the 2D and 3D worlds begin to blur as this passionate romantic comedy unfolds.
Hashimoto launched the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website in 2019. Shueisha published the manga's 17th volume on May 2, 2023. The manga currently has over 1.7 million copies in circulation.
