The official website for Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash (Hai to Gensou no Grimgar), the light novel by author Ao Jūmonji and illustrator Eiri Shirai, has released a new trailer, revealing that the anime will premiere on January 10, 2016.
The "Teenagers x Fantasy" series follows the protagonist "Haruhito" and his companions in the world called Grimgar, where they must form a team and cooperate to learn new skills to survive together in a hostile environment. Ryosuke Nakamura is directing and writing the scripts at A-1 Pictures, and Mieko Hosoi is designing the characters.
Jumonji and Shirai launched the light novel in 2013.
