The new comedy anime “ My Deer Friend Nokotan (Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan)”, which portrays a deer girl, has received a new trailer revealing its premiere date.

Therefore, the anime will premiere on July 7, 2024. In the trailer above, we can hear the opening theme song "Shikairo Days" by the band Sung by Deer Club and the ending theme song "Shika-senbei no Uta".
Production cast:
- Masahiko Oota (Hiouto! Umaru-chan, Gabriel Dropout, Yuru Yuri) is directing the anime at WIT STUDIO .
- Takashi Aoshima (No Game No Life. Himouto! Umaru-chan, Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!) is responsible for writing and supervising the scripts.
- Ayumu Tsujimura (Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu, Fruits Basket: 1st Season, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song) is responsible for character design and animation direction.
- Yasuhiro Misawa (Kokoro Connect, Himouto! Umaru-chan, Hinamatsuri) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.
Synopsis:
No one knows that Torako was a criminal. All her classmates know her only as the perfect student. But everything changes when Nokotan, a transfer student with antlers, enters her life. The antlers aren't the only strange thing about Nokotan. However, her deer nose can sniff out Torako's secret past. Whether at school or the zoo, chaos follows every step of this girl with doe eyes. Torako has many questions. Is Nokotan a deer, a girl, or something in between?
Finally, Oshioshio began publishing the manga “My Deer Friend Nokotan” through Shonen Magazine Edge in November 2019. The author also participates as a designer in franchises such as “Holo no Graffiti”, “Hololive Alternative”, and “Tenshi not Agape”.
