The official website for the new anime inspired by Rumiko Takahashi 's manga , Urusei Yatsura , has posted a new full trailer. According to the official website, the series will function as a reboot of the first season, divided into two parts.

Takahiro Kamei (episode director on Strike Witches: Road to Berlin, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) will serve as series director at studio David Production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Cells at Work!). Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, 2019's Fruits Basket) is composing the music.
Synopsis:
The story takes place when Earth is threatened by a fleet of alien invaders known as Oni, and Ataru is selected to represent humanity in a duel against one of them.
Urusei Yatsura published the work in Weekly Shonen Sunday in September 1978 and it ran until February 1987, totaling 34 volumes. The manga was adapted into a 195-episode anime series that premiered in October 1981 and also had several films and OVAs.
Finally, the premiere takes place on October 13th.
