The premiere date for the new episode of the second part of the season of "The Apothecary Diaries" (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) has been revealed. The official website states that it will premiere on January 6, 2024.

Additionally, a new trailer has been given a release date of December 25th.
The film is directed by Norihiro Naganuma , with a screenplay by Shinotoko and character designs by Yukiko Nakatani .
Synopsis:
The story takes place in a large country in the middle of the continent. Mao-mao is a young woman who works as a pharmacist in a Hanamachi (a neighborhood with many brothels). She is kidnapped and sold as a servant to the palace. But she hides the fact that she is a pharmacist; she works very quietly, waiting for the new year to arrive. One day, however, she hears a rumor from a coworker that the emperor's children are dying one after another, and using her knowledge of pharmacy, she discovers the cause.
Therefore, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries) began its publication in October 2011 in Shousetsuka ni Narou and its physical publication began in August 2014.
