Synopsis The Barbarian's Bride:
A captured female knight ends up engaged to the leader of the tribe she was sent to fight, in a fantasy manga full of twists and turns. Serafina de Lavillant, the most powerful female knight in the West, was sent to subdue the barbaric tribes of the East. However, her mission fails disastrously, and she is captured and taken prisoner. Humiliated and fearing the horrific tortures she might face, Serafina asks to be executed. But, to her surprise, the tribe's leader doesn't want to see her suffer, but instead asks for her hand in marriage! Will Serafina have to face a cruel and abusive arranged marriage? Or will she discover that these tribes are not as barbaric as they seemed?
Therefore, The Barbarian's Bride, also known as The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King, is a manga series written and illustrated by Noriaki Kotoba. Finally, the work began serialization in Kodansha's shōnen manga magazine, Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, in January 2021.
