At the beginning of the episode, while examining the valuables on offer at the auction, Arthur realizes that Sylvie has disappeared. Shortly after, he discovers that the creature is with Sebastian, the royal family's conjurer, who also happens to be the mysterious man who appeared at the end of the previous episode. The conjurer, who serves King Blaine Glayder, is enchanted by Sylvie's mana and believes he can harness the little creature's full potential.

When Arthur encounters Sylvie, Sebastian expresses his desire to obtain the creature and tries, in vain, to use his position to threaten the boy and take the cub. However, Arthur is unfazed and manifests an overwhelming bloodlust that affects even those far from him. The conjurer, who had not expected the boy's power, shows fear and decides to back away. However, he is far from giving up.
After the commotion, everyone thinks the auction house has been broken into. Therefore, since Reynolds Leywin failed to capture the alleged intruder, King Blaine decides to impose disciplinary action on him. Taking advantage of the situation, the conjurer uses his influence to urge the king to overlook the incident, but suggests he request Sylvie instead. Arthur disagrees, which makes the situation even more tense.
In the anime, the protagonist still seems confused about his past life, when he was a king, as he, despite being courteous at times, fails to demonstrate due politeness toward the king. This situation displeases Sebastian, and this generates conflict between the two. At the conjurer's behest, the royal guards attempt to capture Arthur. However, the boy proves himself equal to their abilities and, once again, manifests an overwhelming power that even causes him to leave the timestream.
At one point, it appears that Arthur is no longer in control of his body, as he appears confused and faints after the incident. Furthermore, Sylvia's image appears, suggesting that she was behind the boy's bloodlust during the commotion.
The fight scene, like those in previous episodes, makes excessive use of static images. The lack of dynamism in the action scenes affects viewer immersion and generates audience dissatisfaction with the film.
The Beginning After the End: What to expect from the next episode?
At the end of the episode, Cynthia Goodsky, founder and headmaster of Xyrus Academy, is waiting for Arthur. In the web novel, Cynthia asks for a demonstration of Arthur's powers, and the duel between the two is incredible. However, unfortunately, the anime likely opts for static images and doesn't fully utilize the scene's potential.
