The official account in the X of the anime The Beginning After The End . On Tuesday (17) two new members of the voice acting cast announced. The anime is an adaptation of the turtleme web novel.

Gen Sato will be the voice of Elijah Knight , while Shōya Chiba will voice Lucas Wykes . The 12th and last episode of the first season will debut the two characters this Wednesday, June 18 .
First season of the anime
The first season will have 24 episodes, and a second season is already confirmed for spring of 2026 .
The production is in charge of Studio A-CAT , directed by Keitarō Motonaga ( Date a Live ). Takamitsu Kōno supervises the script, Masami Sueoka creates the character design and Keiji Inai (Slime Taoshite 300-Nen) makes up the soundtrack.
The creator of the work, Turtleme , acts as supervisor of the history and executive producer, alongside Mike Zhu and Kevin Nicklaus , from Tapas Entertainment, and Gabrielle Luu of Turtleme LLC.
Success of the franchise
The author launched the web novel The Beginning After the End originally in January 2017 on Tapas. Webcomic premiered in July 2018 , written by Turtleme, with art initially from Fuyuki23 . From June 2023, art became the responsibility of Rise Entertainment . After a brief hiatus in August, the publication returned in October, now under MGK-Story .
With versions in seven languages , the franchise has already exceeded 61.8 million readings ( 36.1 million by Webcomic and 25.7 million by the web novel ) and generates a global monthly revenue close to $ 500,000 .
Currently, the novel series is hosting a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter , with the aim of funding printed premium editions of the first three volumes . Rocketship Entertainment leads the initiative, the same publisher that published the printed version of Let's Play .
