The official X account for the anime The Beginning After The End announced two new members of the dubbing cast on Tuesday (17). The anime is an adaptation of the web novel by TurtleMe.

Gen Sato will voice Elijah Knight , while Shōya Chiba will voice Lucas Wykes . The 12th and final episode of the first season will debut both characters this Wednesday, June 18th .
First season of the anime
The first season will have 24 episodes, and a second season is already confirmed for spring 2026 .
The production is handled by Studio A-Cat Keitarō Motonaga ( Date A Live directing . Takamitsu Kōno oversees the script, Masami Sueoka creates the character designs, and Keiji Inai (Slime Taoshite 300-nen) composes the soundtrack.
The work's creator, TurtleMe , serves as story supervisor and executive producer, alongside Mike Zhu and Kevin Nicklaus of Tapas Entertainment, and Gabrielle Luu of TurtleMe LLC.
Franchise success
The author originally released the web novel The Beginning After The End in January 2017 on Tapas. The webcomic debuted in July 2018 , written by TurtleMe, with art initially by Fuyuki23 . Starting in June 2023, the art became the responsibility of Rise Entertainment . After a brief hiatus in August, publication returned in October, now under production by MGK-story .
With versions in seven languages , the franchise has already surpassed 61.8 million readings ( 36.1 million for the webcomic and 25.7 million for the web novel ) and generates a global monthly revenue of close to 500 thousand dollars .
The novel series is currently undergoing a Kickstarter crowdfunding to fund premium print editions of the first three volumes . Rocketship Entertainment , the same publisher that published the print version of Let's Play .
