My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Although the premiere of the anime of The Beginning After the End generated great anticipation, it also received criticism regarding its execution. In response, TurtleMe , the creator of the original work, decided to address the issue.

According to the author, it's natural that there are points to improve. However, he emphasized that he prefers to maintain his focus on his work in the novel and webcomic versions. " After all, if I start worrying too much, I end up getting stressed. The best way to deal with this is to trust the producers to make the best possible adaptation ," he stated.

Although many fans have mixed opinions, the author demonstrated maturity in acknowledging his creative limitations in the process. As he explained, he dedicates himself to writing a good story where he has control, that is, in the novel and in the comic book. This way, he avoids unnecessary emotional strain.

However, TurtleMe emphasized that he is closely following the progress of the adaptation. He understands that transforming a complex work like The Beginning After the End into anime requires technical decisions, narrative adjustments, and, above all, trust in the team involved.

Therefore, even with some specific criticisms, the author shows that he believes in the potential of animated production, unlike the fans.

The Beginning After the End , translated as "What will the most powerful king do in his second life?", is an American web novel written by TurtleMe and illustrated by Fuyuki23 .

The work began publication on the Tapas in January 2017. In July 2018 , it received a webtoon adaptation, also illustrated by Fuyuki23, which quickly gained popularity among readers.
