Maes Hughes: Now, let's open our list with this amazing dad. He, a soldier completely devoted to his country and especially to his family. The great Maes shows his love for his daughter and wife whenever he has the opportunity! Honestly, he's an admirable man, and you surely cried rivers of tears when he passed away.
Edward Newgate: And who said a father has to share your blood? Here we see the great Whitebeard who never sought treasure or fame on his journey. But what he really wanted was a family! In fact, he got a very large one, where he treats each member of his crew like a son. Furthermore, he faces anyone to protect them, as we saw in the anime!
Tomoya Okazaki: On the other hand, who doesn't remember Clannad? There we followed the difficult love story and the challenges life throws at us. However, seeing Okazaki grow from a rebellious teenager into a true family man was sensational. And the ending of that work is simply perfect.
Igneel: In the end, a father doesn't have to be blood-related, much less human! The Fire Dragon shows us this very well by raising Natsu with all the love and affection in the world. He is certainly another great example of a father to follow!
