The Best Martial Arts Anime – Top 5
5. Hokuto no Ken: First, let's kick off our list with this very old work, but it's still a hit today and deserves recognition. The techniques our protagonist uses are no joke, and this is evident throughout the entire work. In fact, mixing the fights into a post-apocalyptic world made the plot much more fun and engaging. So, if you haven't seen it yet, check it out now, especially the films.
4. The God of High School: Now, let's talk about one of the biggest Korean hits of the moment. At first, we see the world's best martial artists gathered in one place. Not to mention, you really learn a lot just by reading or watching the fight scenes. But, despite superpowers starting to appear midway through the film, it still maintains the spirit of martial arts, and that's really cool.
The Best Martial Arts Anime – Top 3
03. Kengan Ashura
Starting off our top three, we have this work about several brutes fighting for their companies. What a wonderful work, with plenty of brawls and impeccable scenes. Furthermore, it's worth highlighting the character development, where none of them were wasted and all of them delivered epic battles.
02. Baki
Here, we see young Baki, who dreams of defeating his father one day. However, the problem is that he's the strongest man in the world, making his mission quite complicated. Therefore, it's fascinating to see the young boy's training unfold, as well as the various fights he faces throughout the film. We see several top martial artists.
01. Hajime no Ippo
And finally, we couldn't leave this great classic out. Seeing Ippo's entire journey, from the constant suffering of bullying to becoming a great boxer, was perfect. In fact, boxing is one of my favorite fights, and the film focuses on it very well, exploring the techniques and training with mastery.
