Soon, they discover amazing places, fight with people, and learn about other cultures. It's beautiful how the author handles each theme with such delicacy and respect for everyone. In fact, the work itself is so well written and crafted, it's a complete waste that it isn't as famous.
4. Mushishi: Another surreal work is Mushishi, which deals with supernatural creatures, not as villains. Rather, it's a part of nature that should be respected and embraced. Our protagonist is an expert on these mysterious creatures, and we follow his various adventures around the world, where he helps both humans and Mushis. Furthermore, this duality and passivity permeates the work in an incredible way and is simply beautiful to behold.

03. Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin
Now, opening our top 3, we have Rainbow. There, we follow the lives of some teenagers in prison, where they suffer the worst atrocities imaginable, yet each of them never gave up on their dreams. In fact, seeing them help each other and then pursue their own ideals is phenomenal and inspiring. Whether a singer, a boxer, or a businessman, each one managed to achieve their desired goals in some way, and it's a work full of reflections.
02. Katanagatari
Here we have one of the best stories I've ever seen. While the show may seem a bit monotonous and simple at first, as the plot progresses, we experience a variety of surreal experiences. Each character fights for their own goals, and it's beautiful to see our heroes' romance blossom. Finally, let's mention the ending of this anime, which really surprised me. But to avoid spoilers, I won't say anything and I highly recommend you watch it!
01. Monogatari Series
Finally, we have this marvel. Monogatari tells the complex story of a half-vampire who spends his daily life dealing with the strange things that exist in the world. Through this, we follow wacky stories, where the author's trademark is plenty of comedy, philosophical conversations, and overused references. Therefore, I recommend everyone watch and especially read this work.
