Kodansha activated a website on Thursday (14) to confirm the anime adaptation of Tsuyoshi Yasuda 's manga The Blue Wolves of Mibu ( Ao no Miburo ). The website released a teaser video for the character with the protagonist Nio and the anime team.

Therefore, the direction is by Kumiko Habara ( I'm Standing on 1,000,000 Lives Maho Film studio . Kenta Ihara ( Uncle From Another World ) writes the scripts, Miyako Nishida and Yūko Ōba design the characters.

Finally, author Yasuda launched The Blue Wolves of Mibu in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in October 2021. Therefore, Kodansha USA Publishing plans to begin printing the manga in English in spring 2024.
Furthermore, Yasuda's football manga DAYS also inspired an anime in 2016 and five episodes from 2017 to 2018.
