The Blue Wolves of Mibu – Nio stands out in the 1st promotional art

The recently announced anime The Blue Wolves of Mibu ( Ao no Miburo ) gained its first promotional art of the character Nio, originally voiced by Shuichiro Umeda . Therefore, the series is animated by the studio Maho Film (Gekai Elise).

Synopsis:

Nio is an orphan who can't stop dreaming of a better world. In this action-packed manga, he meets two men who show him how much a few swords can change history. This riveting samurai series from the acclaimed creator of DAYS shares its setting with Rurouni Kenshin and chronicles the founding of the Shinsengumi by handsome, volatile men who fight for justice... and for themselves!

Finally, author Yasuda launched The Blue Wolves of Mibu in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in October 2021. Therefore, Kodansha USA Publishing plans to begin printing the manga in English in spring 2024.
