Synopsis:
The Boy and the Heron is inspired by the story of Genzaburo Yoshino , published in 1937. The book's story follows the journey of Copper, a 15-year-old boy who goes on a great quest to discover the meaning of life. However, Miyazaki stated that his film will have a different story.
Finally, Hayao Miyazaki is one of Japan's most respected and influential animators, being the co-founder of Studio Ghibli . Furthermore, the premiere takes place in North America on December 8th, also in IMAX format.
